One enemy belts out a hilarious scream as they run towards Sam with their arms spread like an eagle taking to the sky.
Most of the enemies have a low budget horror look, which definitely plays into the overall tone of the game. Sam is constantly spouting off catchphrases as he plows through goofy-looking creatures.

Serious Sam: The First Encounter has a cheesy, B-rated movie vibe that helps it stand out from other games in the genre. Mowing down enemies with a variety of powerful weapons is extremely rewarding and never really loses its appeal. It's a bit strange, but it just adds to the game's charm. It's like Doom II had a zombie mode with a sci-fi story. Players will take on hordes of blood-thirsty creatures as Sam travels through the Egyptian landscape. It is one of those games that is easy to pick up, but hard to put down. Serious Sam: The First Encounter offers an extremely fun FPS experience that will captivate players for hours on end.
